Bucolo Cold Storage was founded by Joe Bucolo in 1961. It was owned and operated by Joe Bucolo until he passed away in 2005, when his nephew, Jerry Bucolo, took over and incorporated the company as Niagara Fresh Fruit Co. After becoming a division of Bucolo Cold Storage in 2007, Jerry's son Chris became more involved and developed the company's apple-growing, packaging, and marketing operations both domestically and internationally.
